This is why we have joined several awareness campaigns and adopted new environmentally friendly technologies.
Hotel Canada has made several important investments, including:
- 17 kW of photovoltaic panels for electricity production
- 68 m² of vacuum-tube solar panels for hot water
- Automated electric load management for energy efficiency
- 23 m² of flat solar panels for sanitary water
- Air-water heat pump for cooling
- Automatic sensors to stop heating/cooling when windows are open
- Installation of a biomass boiler serving the Hotel Canada Dependence (for heating and hot water)
BIOMASS PLANT
The construction of this 101 kW biomass plant was co-financed by the Autonomous Province of Trento as part of the ERDF Operational Programme 2014/2020 (Axis 4 – Supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy in all sectors).
The co-financed amount was €17,876.00.
The management of Hotel Canada is pleased to inform its guests that the warmth they enjoy within the facility is “good warmth” – generated from renewable sources and respectful of the environment.
